Secretwars series 3, heat 4.

Chent vs Jumbo(last minute call up!)

Terry was out of town for this battle, so I was running the show. Seems that what could go wrong did go wrong, but Reeps and I managed to make it through the night and show all that showed up a wikid time! Big thanks to Ben for coming down to help out as well.

Reeps rock’n the fresh new Reebok cap!

Chent won on the night, but massive props have to go out to Jumbo who was only confirmed at 2pm on the day of the event due to an artist dropping out the night before!

Secret surprises are the best!

While Bek was on holiday in Croatia I stripped her bike down, had it powder coated Red with a metallic clear, and then reassembled it with a few new bits all without letting the cat out of the bag! Needless to say she was surprised and totally stoked when she got back to find her bike looking totally different and super HOT!

Raleigh in action…

Secretwars series 3, heat 2.

Sumit Sarkar vs Mr K

Mr K came through with the win!

Secretwars series 3, heat 1.

Stika vs Jimi Crayon.

Stika won in a controversial start to the series!

Amsterdam…

Cat, Bek and I headed over to the dam to visit Krys and Brad. Em and Beren also made the trip over for the weekend. Fun times all round!

What a way to start….bike boxes in the airport!

Krys and Brad live in an amazing house right on one of the canals. The interior is amazing!!!
Ill’n in the lounge…

This is what greets you in the downstairs toilet!

We all hired bikes and rode to Harleem and then the beach…

bike gang group shot

On out last night we headed to the local ethiopian restaurant for some food and super tasty coconut beer!

updates are well overdue updates…

Beks new bike turned up and we stripped it back to nothing, then built it up as a lovely single speed/fixed gear!

Test ride…

Cut Chemist - 1st Big Break from eyestorm on Vimeo.

I rode the London to Brighton ride on Sunday on my fixed gear!!!
I left in the 6:30am start wave, and clocked in at Brighton in about 3 hours 10 minutes. Hit all the hills hard and got up all of them, but Ditchling, the massive hill at the end broke me on the way up, and freaked me out on the way down… thats fixed gear for ya!! Wikid fun.

Chris on the right here pushed me all the way to brighton! I think we averaged about 20mph (that was before and including while we were stuck behind other cyclists/bike traffic!)

The view as you go over the top of ditchiling.

Coming into Brighton was heaps of fun…

All the way on this beast…love hitting the open road on a fixie, but hills both up and down are a challenge!

Thinking about riding London to Amsterdam next year sometimes???

Bodhi…fresh and clean on Thrusday morning!

Down the stairs to check out the Golden Brown space…

Setting a gallery show is stressful, but rewarding!

Issue one, two and three….just in time for the show!

Drew Millward’s work turned up at 6 on opening night…but it is super RAD!

Itch is shannons man from Melbs…arrived the day before the show…and I had to pick it up from the sorting centre on the Thursday of opening night!

Mephisto Jones all the way from NZ!

This wall was really really hard to hang work on! No hooks wanted to dig in….got there in the end though!

Beastman was a hit with the crowd!!

Junior was one of my favorite artists of the show! I want this piece!!

Not quite how I wanted it to turn out, but it did the job!

Jumbo hit the bodhi sign for the show! How could he resist a blank white canvas on London’s Brick Lane? Looks amazing.

A big thanks to all the kids that made it down on opening night and throughout the show. Props to Corona, Stunt double, Cromatics, Freshman, Bodhi and everyone that supported the show. Most of all a big thanks to all the artists that took the time to create original artworks for the show, and to my amazing little lady, Booba, for all her support and patience over the last few months! What a ride!!!

Drinking on the tube is no longer legal!?

Bek and I headed down to Liverpool St Station and planned to do one last loop on the tube to celebrate/protest/check out the circle line party! Basically the new Mayor of London, Boris Johnson’s first bt of business was to ban drinking on public transport, so everyone headed for the circle line for one last drink…and we didn’t get very far! Liverpool St Station was closed, and hundreds of people were left drinking surrounded by Police! Would have been an interesting train ride had all those kids been let on…

Doors closed…no entry here!
